Why do I need a Dash Kit?
- Today's cars have funky looking, curved stereo faces.
- The Dash Kit is designed to match your car radio console to the new factory radio.
- Many auto makers factory radios are bigger than aftermarket radios.

The sole purpose of an install dash kit, is to blend the new aftermarket radio so it looks like it belongs
Professional Installers use Dash Install Kits when installing new After-market radios.
Size differences between the OEM factory radio and the aftermarket replacement must be accounted for.
Radio in-dash installation kits are designed, specifically for particular vehicles, to insure gapless fitment
- What's the difference between: Single-DIN, 1.5-DIN, Double-DIN & Shaft Radio?
- "Single DIN" = Standard Aftermarket Radio Size (7in x 2in)
- "Shaft Style"= Old type of radios w/ Knob Controls (7in x 2in - w 2 knobs)
- "1.5 DIN" = Mostly Used by Chrysler & GM (7in x 2.5in)
- "Double-DIN" = (7in x 4in) :: Usually Same as Factory Navi
- Most people are installing (Single DIN or Double DIN) Radios

**Note:
- Careful buying China Direct Double Din Radios from auction sites.
- These Stereos are *Not compatible with dash kits*
- Many of the Radios are not correctly fitted to be used on Dash Kits
- They are not following the AIAA guidelines / for wiring or fitment
- Most are for only Direct fitment when a Dash kit isn't needed
- If your vehicle requires a Dash Faceplate, China direct DDin will not work.
